We know, change can be a little scary…but don’t worry! We’re here to help guide you through a stream-lined process for easy entrance at this year’s Fair. Just follow the steps below and know that you picked the EASIEST route into the Fair!

Step 1

Buy admission & parking before you arrive! Avoid the lines, arrive with your parking and admission already queued up on your phone!

Step 2

Drive-in through Gate 9 on White Ave. or Gate 17 on Fairplex Dr. for quick and easy access.
Pick-up/drop-off available at Gate 7.

Step 3

Self-scan your way in with your phone or printed ticket at the Yellow, Blue or Red Gate entrances and enjoy the Fair!

"In September 2008 LA County Fair Tamale Contest. Upper Picture: I just won the Tamale Contest and MC George Geary is laughing after asking, How many times have you won this contest? My answer, I stopped counting! Lol.

Lower Left: I also won the Sweet Tamale Contest and MC George is sampling my traditional sweet tamale. Lower Right: I'm announcing that it will be my last tamale contest that I felt I was competing against myself. The judge said No I shouldn't do that because I was inspiring others to master the art of tamale making!

Six years later and after the fair revamped the competitions I was ready and eager. In September 2013 I took 1st Place for my Pork-belly Tamales!! And for the past 7 years! "
