POMONA, CA (Aug. 13, 2019) – The LA County Fair is amping up the entertainment all month long by introducing Fusion Fest! Fusion Fest takes over the Grandstand Infield every Saturday and Sunday with fresh entertainment from Pop cover bands, wrestlers and more!
The LA County Fair wouldn’t be going POP if we didn’t start our Fusion Fest festival with a lineup of pop music tribute bands. Pop Fusion, the first of the four events, will showcase a number of local talented musicians, a features host, house band and DJ. The perfect recipe for a fun and energetic show.
From Sept. 7 – 8 local Banda groups with go head-to-head to win the hearts of the crowds in “Battle of the Bandas.” Banda groups will be competing for a chance to win prize money and bragging rights. Four bands will compete each day with a told of two bands being crowned “Mejor Banda.”
Luchadores take over the infield when “Leyendas de la Luchas Libre” comes to the LA County Fair! This high-flying event showcases one of Mexico’s most popular events, Lucha Libre. Masked wrestlers, in colorful spandex suits, wrestling each other all weekend makes for the most entertaining event anyone can watch before catching Ramon Ayala in concert!
Last but not least, The Fox Theatre in Pomona, in partnership with the LA County Fair, presents “Minor League Music,” an all age’s event featuring local bands ranging from indie pop rock to surf rock. This party will be the biggest backyard gig in LA and the IE.
“We wanted to bring a new and refreshing family event to the Fair to bring local and diverse performers to new audiences,” Vice President of Marketing Lucas Rivera said. “We want fairgoers to look forward to something they’ve never experienced before at the LA County Fair.”
