2018 APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
1 – Incomplete applications will not be accepted and may result in a delay in process and/or loss of desired space. All questions/sections on the application must be completed at the time of submission. Decisions to contract for commercial space shall be at the sole discretion of the LACFA.
2 - A $50.00 non-refundable application processing fee must be paid online or with your application submission. The processing fee is a one-time fee and is not required should you apply for more than one space.
3 - If you are applying for more than one booth space, you must complete the 2nd page of the application for each location.
4 - New applicants must attach a recent booth photo or artist rendering. Returning vendors selling a different product must also submit photos of the new product and booth presentation.
5 - The L.A. County Fair does not guarantee specific locations or approval of products requested. The application does not automatically reserve space and is valid for the 2018 L.A. County Fair only.
6– Be very specific when listing the products/services on your application. If approved, the listed products/services will be on the contract and cannot be changed or altered unless approved by the LACFA.
7 – Request for the following products/services will not be considered for commercial space approval: Beverages (non-carbonated, carbonated, isotonics, and bottled water), Cookware, Pay TV service/TV Box, Cellular Services, Grocery Stores, Automobiles, Time Share/Vacation Resort properties, Utilities, Mattresses (subject to change).
8 – If purchasing general liability insurance through LACFA, deadline to purchase is August 20, 2018
9 – If a contract is issued, a Seller’s Permit is required by the State Board of Equalization and must be submitted to the Commercial Sales Office by July 1st.
10 – Be sure to sign and date the application before submission.
