  • • Groups are booked on a first-come, first-served basis, based on availability and type of performance.  The sole decision for selection rests with the LA County Fair Entertainment Department; any application may be rejected at any time, for any reason deemed necessary.
  • • Due to the high volume of applicants, not all submissions will be booked. Please wait for our team to reach out to you regarding booking. You will reach a confirmation of receipt page upon successfully submitting your application.
  • • For groups that have been selected, the Entertainment Department will send you a detailed information packet, including a confirmation that must be signed and returned, maps, and your credentials.

We look forward to reviewing your application!

Parades

Parades

Thank you for your interest in participating at the 2015 LA County Fair, which will take place September 4 – September 27, 2015 (closed Mondays, except Labor Day, and Tuesdays).

We are proud to offer parades that are exciting, unique, and diverse and include various elements that honor our different communities, heroes, organizations, and Fair attractions. Weekday parades will begin at 5pm (check in at 3:30pm) and Saturday, Sunday and the Labor Day parades will begin at 12pm (check in at 10:30am).

As always, our parades are designed to create a visual experience for our guests: costumes, a float, an elaborately decorated vehicle, flags, and creativity are highly encouraged for all participants! Please note that if you are not bringing a parade vehicle, you must be prepared to walk the entire parade route (approximately one mile).

All parade participants must be identifiable – wearing a uniform, matching shirts, or other costumes that complement the group or parade’s theme.

Please fill out your parade application as soon as possible. After your application has been processed and approved, confirmations will be sent to you during the summer. Participating groups are limited to a maximum of 25 people and a maximum of one parade vehicle in order to accommodate as many groups as possible. Any exceptions (such as marching bands) must be approved in advance by the Entertainment Department.

We look forward to reviewing your application!
