You can’t go back in time in California without experiencing the Gold Rush! This exhibit features a long panning trough filled with silver and water with authentic mining equipment. For a small fee, you can dive right in and pan for gold or cut your own geode! You can visit with miners and learn more about the tools that they used at Gold Panning Talks. |

The Heritage Farm House and Vintage Craft Barn bring the 1900s to you. The Heritage Farm House is filled with antique furniture and costumed historians. The Old Fashion Kitchen Gadgets exhibit immerses you in a kitchen from the ‘20s. Learn what the various gadgets do – you can even wash clothes with a vintage washboard and tub! At the Vintage Craft Barn, you have the opportunity to learn to weave and make looms. Watch spinners spin wool into beautiful clothing and discover how wool is used in our clothing today. |
