America's Kids: A Living Library of Fun

Presented by:

A Living Library of Fun isn’t your ordinary library. In this library, books are 8-feet tall, some of your favorite fictional characters come to life and you don’t have to whisper! Solve a mystery with Sherlock Holmes, go on a magical adventure with Harry Potter or travel back in time with an American Girl; anything is possible! There are hands-on activities for all ages so go ahead and dive right in.

The beloved Magic Tree House series comes to life when brother and sister duo Jack and Annie bring their time traveling adventures to life in this inspiring tribute to the magic of reading .

Every Saturday and Sunday of the Fair, a different Avenger will assemble in our special comic book section.  Spider-Man™, Hulk™, Captain America™, Iron Man™ and Thor™ leave their superhero duties behind for awhile to visit in the Living Library of Fun.

Be a part of the excitement at the Wizard Stage and meet our wizards and other magical characters and see how they bring books to life right before your eyes.

History, fantasy, sports, mystery and photography with accompanying crafts and activities can be found in the nonfiction section. In the arts section, children can create art using the seven elements of design. In the photography section, students can see antique cameras and learn how photos were taken before the digital age.
