Bayadera

The words eclectic and ethnic only begin to describe Bayadera’s blend of sophisticated alternative rock as the band is a melting pot of musical styles, backgrounds, and experiences.  They represent and reflect our diverse society today; focusing on our common urge to seek a middle ground.  Primarily rock-based, the ethnically Bayadera combines strong grooves a la old school R&B with splashed of Latin flare and modern digital nuances.  Sultry singer Gina Bandy weaves heartfelt and introspective lyrics through the band’s musical landscape, capturing the essence of the human experience with her powerful yet delicate delivery.  Full of hope, loss, love, and a need for change, Bayadera’s music embodies our current state of affairs with engaging, foot tapping rhythms and catchy hooks.

Be A Star Live Band Karaoke featuring Steel Rod

Based out of L.A., Steel Rod is a cover band that has been playing for over a decade. The “Live Band Karaoke” portion came about 6 years ago as a result of having so many loyal fans packing each venue, singing along and jumping up on stage with the band.  The band started inviting their die-hard fans up on stage to perform one song, and once others started witnessing this, everybody wanted their turn at being the lead singer. This concept quickly became so popular that Steel Rod started once a week shows solely dedicated to the Live Band Karaoke.  From USO tours to corporate events, radio sponsored singing competitions, weddings, cruise-line jobs, TV shows, residencies at established music venues, & casino lounge gigs; Steel Rod has done more than the average band as these men bring a high level of showmanship to every event they play.
Be a star September 18-20 at the Garden Plaza Stage, presented by Budweiser.

Better Chemistry

Infectious.  Enveloping.  Irresistible.  These are just a few words to describe the Los Angeles band Better Chemistry, who have been overwhelming and conjuring with audiences since 2001 with their propulsive brew of reggae, rock, ska, and funk.  From small clubs to stadiums and from backyard parties to three day festivals, the band’s feel great, let the good times roll approach has won them a devoted following and a career’s worth of accomplishments.  Better Chemistry’s music is about the journey of the soul, spirit, and the challenges and joys of life – the pitfalls of love and relationships, the threat to our environment, the simple gratitude in being alive, and they view their music as a vehicle to bring people together to experience oneness, community, and the knowledge that our similarities far outweigh our differences.
