Opening Weekend
With the purchase of a $17 adult Fair admission ticket Saturday, Sept. 6, or Sunday, Sept. 7, a bounce-back coupon for a free admission on any Wednesday or Thursday of the Fair and a coupon for Buy One/Get One Free on all fountain beverages (excluding milk, beer or sport bottle purchases), will be given to each adult, good for use that day.

American Red Cross

Be a Lifesaving Hero – Give the Gift of Life by donating blood with the American Red Cross and the L.A. County Fair, Tuesday, Sept. 9 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Sheraton Fairplex. Free parking is available at the Sheraton. All donors receive a free ticket to the Fair for Wednesday, Sept. 10, A Day for Heroes (for donors who cannot come to the Fair Sept. 10, a $2 discount coupon will be given for future dates).Sign-up at givelife.org and enter the sponsor code FAIRPLEX.
A special admission coupon good for a $2 discount on adult one-day admission (up to 2 adults) is being distributed at various functions and through the mail to more than 200,000 American Red Cross donors. The L.A. County Fair will donate $2 to the American Red Cross forevery coupon that is redeemed.

AT&T Any Day Admission Tickets

Come to any AT&T Wireless store beginning Aug. 1 to purchase admission tickets for just $10 for adults and $6 for ages 6-12. Each AT&T Adult and Child any-day admission ticket comes with an exclusive unlimited ride carnival wristband offer (purchase required, restrictions apply). Wristbands are $35 and must be purchased before 9 p.m., good until 11 p.m. weekdays; must be purchased before 4 p.m., available for use until 7 p.m. weekends. With purchase of the unlimited ride carnival wristband, customers will also receive a Smart Card good for any two midway carnival games (up to a $10 value). A Day of Heroes
On Wednesday, Sept. 10, active military, reserves, police, fire and paramedics, with ID, along with one guest, can attend the Fair for $1, which will be donated to the local and national disaster relief fund of the American Red Cross. The American Red Cross disaster relief fund will also receive $1 from each adult admission to the Fair on Wednesday, Sept. 10.

Day at the Races
Value-packed weekend, weekday and VIP packages for groups of four or more. The packages include admission, seating and lunch buffet on the Veranda over looking the first turn, or box seating at the finish line, Winners Circle photo, race named in honor of your group and more. Fair Kids Discovery Club Field Trips
Teachers of classes from preschool through eighth grade may bring a chaperoned school group to the Fair, free of charge. School trips are held Wednesdays through Fridays, beginning Wednesday, Sept. 10. Groups visit various educational Fair exhibits, including FairView Farms, California’s Heritage Square, America’s Kids, Education Expo, Millard Sheets Center for the Arts at Fairplex, Going Green: Making a World of Difference, Bark Park and many other exhibits. Special shows and events are scheduled specially for the FairKids Discovery Club field trips program. The educational extravaganza offers teachers and students hands-on experiences that cannot be found anywhere else. Must be reserved in advance. Los Angeles County Day
Held on Sunday, Sept. 7. Good for employees, their families and affiliated organizations of Los Angeles County. A Buy One-Get One free admission coupon for that day only will be available to all county employees. A special parade honoring Los Angeles County will take place at noon.

Los Angeles County Fair Raffle
The Los Angeles County Fair Association and Pomona Rotary sponsored a raffle during the Fair. The Grand Prize was a 1965 Corvette Sting Ray, red with black interior, an ocean cruise for two to Alaska, worth $3000, and the third place winner claimed a $1,000 gas card.
